About

A good description of me is in the poem So Much More.  I live in Huntington Beach with my husband and twin daughters. I’ve written poetry on and off throughout the years since I was a teenager. In the last several years I’ve been busy working and parenting, but lately I’ve found small windows of opportunity to write. It has made me want to write more, so I decided to start a blog as a creative outlet.

  1. You inspire me. Taking a leap into the unknown and being open and exposed with your thoughts and feelings this way is a far braver action than most people will ever take. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes you, I’m just privileged to be along for the ride. I will always be your biggest fan. All my love and encouragement.

  3. Looking forward to reading your poetry. My dad was a popular Latvian poet and writer and he left me with his talent. With his influence I started writing some simple poems at the age of eight but in Latvian. When I went to high school I was a love struck teen and never without a pen and pad that quickly got filled up with love poems.

  4. Robin, just stopping by to thank you for your recent likes/follow on Shift Key as we both enjoy the 31daypoem challenge together. Your site is sweet; and your sweet spirit comes through your writing. A pleasure to join in the writing fray with you; my “working” career is behind me, so I, too, am trying to write as much as time, the good Lord, and coffee will allow, etc.
