Making Sense of it All

When times are uncertain, difficult, fearful, full of change,
they become the perfect place to deepen the practice of awakening.

I, like many Americans, have been grappling with the results of the presidential election. My heart is full of mixed emotions. I told my daughters that I cast my vote for them, but when they asked me who won this morning, it was hard to get the words out.

We are all trying to process what happened and how we go from here. I know that all is not lost. We can still make a difference in our communities. We can still be kind to others and treat people with differing opinions with respect.

A friend of mine posted this lovely article by Jack Kornfield. I see it as a gift that I must share to pay it forward. I hope you will do the same.
