Hope and Faith

Nine months of chemo

Could have put an end

to becoming parents.

We waited a year for healing,

Amazingly surprised that

The pregnancy happened

Sooner than not.

Heading into 11 weeks

We were informed of

Abnormal blood test results.

To our profound amazement

Came bewilderment and delight

Of learning God blessed us

With twin girls who graced our world

At 38 weeks old, 10 minutes apart,

Through Hope and Faith.

    1. Mavis, I saw your inquiry about how I was doing. I composed my message but accidentally hit the spam button. Anyway, thank you for checking in. I have a wonderful support system online and off. Plus, I pray a lot! Hope you’re doing well.
